September always feels like a fresh start.
The summer begins to fade, routines return, the colours outside start to change and our thoughts naturally turn back to our homes. And here at Hue House, this September feels particularly exciting.
There have been lots of things happening behind the scenes over the past few months, so we thought it was the perfect time to introduce something new our monthly Hue House blog.
A little place where we can share what’s happening in the workshop, take you behind the scenes of our projects, talk fabrics, interiors and craftsmanship, introduce some of the people we work with and, of course, keep you updated as Hue House continues to grow.

You may have already spotted something a little different…
Our new Hue House logo marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the business.
While our look may be evolving, what sits at the heart of Hue House remains exactly the same: beautifully made, bespoke window treatments, traditional craftsmanship, attention to detail and a genuinely personal service.
From the first conversation and fabric choices and finishing touches whether its a trim, tassels, borders and chains and poles through to making and installation, everything we create is considered specifically for the home and people it is being made for.
September also brings exciting changes to our NEW Westerham workshop and showroom.
This is where so much of the Hue House magic happens.
Curtains are cut and made, Roman blinds take shape, trims and borders are carefully added and those all-important finishing touches turn beautiful fabrics into something completely bespoke.
But we’re also working on making the space somewhere our clients, interior designers and other industry professionals can visit, browse fabrics, see examples of our work and sit down over a coffee to talk through ideas.
There is still more to come, and we’ll be sharing the transformation as it happens.

Autumn is one of our favourite seasons for interiors.
It’s the time of year when texture, layering and warmth really come into their own. Linens sit alongside velvets, richer tones begin to appear and curtains and blinds become about so much more than simply dressing a window they can completely change how a room looks and feels.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing some of the beautiful projects we’ve been working on, along with fabrics, details and ideas that have been inspiring us.

There’s plenty happening at Hue House over the next few months, and we’re looking forward to taking you along with us.
Each month we’ll be sharing a new update from Hue House from the workshop and showroom to recent projects, craftsmanship, interiors inspiration and the wonderful designers, suppliers and businesses we work alongside.
So, here’s to a new season, a fresh new look and an exciting next chapter for Hue House.
